Today: your homepage and the card stack
Today is your homepage. It shows what needs you, one card at a time. Clear the stack and you're done for the day.
The card stack
- Only the top card is open. The rest peek out below it.
- Use ‹ › or your arrow keys to move through the stack. Below it you'll see where you are (for example, 1 of 6) and what's up next.
- Jump to pills above the stack open your Morning brief or a Meeting recap straight away.
- View all activity opens Activity.
Morning brief
The brief Ren sends in Slack or Teams also sits on Today, with where it came from (for example, Slack and your calendar). Use Reply to Ren to talk it through, or ✕ to dismiss it. See Your Morning Brief.
Meeting recaps
After a meeting, Ren shows who met, the source and length (for example, From Zoom · 42 min · 4 people), and What I saw. Links like Open Maya's card take you to that person's card in Moments.
- Talk it through opens a chat with Ren about the meeting.
- Not now sets it aside.
Suggestions
When Ren spots something worth saying to someone, the card shows the person, the rung, Ren's read and You could say: a draft in your voice. The footer shows Ren's sources and when it first noticed.
Click Review to open Make it sound like you:
- Your draft: type to edit it. Back to Ren's wording undoes your changes.
- Adjust tone: one tap and Ren rewrites it: Direct, Warmer, Softer, Shorter, More formal or Curious.
- Tell Ren what to change in your own words.
- Save and send it, or Use this draft.
- Delete suggestion if it isn't right.
Growth themes
When Ren notices a pattern in your own work, it suggests a growth theme. Save to profile, Adjust wording, or Talk it through with Ren. Saved themes are private by default; you can share one any time from the theme itself.
When a card isn't useful
- Snooze (top right of the card) brings it back later.
- ✕ offers Snooze or Dismiss. After Dismiss, Ren asks "Was Ren's read off?" so it learns. Undo is available.
Snoozed and dismissed cards move to Activity.
All clear
When the stack is empty, Today shows your last 30 days and how many cards sit at each rung.
Good to know
- On phones, the card stack is tap-only, with labelled action buttons.
