Connecting Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams support is available on the Business plan and up. It works just like Slack: Ren listens to the channels you choose and turns what it notices into coaching opportunities in your Morning Brief.
What Ren reads (and doesn't)
Ren reads only the channels admins or managers explicitly add it to — never the full workspace, and never direct messages unless it's explicitly added. Messages are read once to generate the Morning Brief and kept only as summaries. See Privacy & security.
Managing the connection (admins)
The Teams integration is managed from Workspace → Integrations. The integration card shows your connection status, and if the Ren bot needs to be installed — or reinstalled after a change on the Teams side — you'll see an alert badge on the Workspace item in your sidebar pointing you to it.
Business plans include done-for-you onboarding, so our team typically handles the Teams setup with you. If anything looks off with your connection, contact support and we'll sort it out quickly.
