Plans and 1:1s: what Ren asks of managers

For each person who reports to you, Ren asks two things:

• A Plan for the quarter. Plans are quarterly.
• A 1:1 each month. 1:1s are monthly.

Name changes: "Connect" is now called 1:1 everywhere, and "Growth Focus" is now Focus.

The Team page

The Team page shows a monthly health summary and one row per direct report, with their Plan and 1:1 status. Click someone to open their person page.

Sharing a Plan

A Plan reaches your report only once you share it: Copy, Slack or Teams.

To rework a shared Plan, use Change it with Ren. It reopens the Plan in chat.

Counting 1:1s

• Zoom 1:1s count on their own.
• For a 1:1 Ren missed, use Log a 1:1 on the person page, or Log a Meeting.

For admins and managers

• Fiscal year: admins can set the month your fiscal year starts. Plans then show fiscal quarter labels.
• Time away: managers can add time away for a direct report.
• Org metrics: admins can exclude a team from organization metrics.
